Compliance

Safeguarding

AMT tutors have Enhanced DBS clearance. Parents/carers of students who are under 18 years of age are asked to make arrangements at home for online learning that are appropriate, given the age and maturity of the young person concerned.

GDPR (Data Protection)

AMT is committed to ensuring the protection of all personal information that we hold and to meeting all relevant requirements of GDPR.

Payments

All payments for sessions are made by bank transfer. Details are provided when the first sessions is organised. We do not take payment in advance of a session. Rather, we ask for payment to be made within 48 hours of the completion of the session.

Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings are generally made for a pattern of sessions - usually one or two hours per week on specified days and times - throughout the school term-time period. During school break periods, extra sessions can be organised, where required, by arrangement (not necessarily on the same day, at the same time). Where a session needs to cancelled or reorganised, 24 hours notice is generally expected. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, where this notice is not given, the session should be paid for. Where a significant number of sessions are cancelled (with or without notice), the regular slot may be lost, in order to free up the opportunity for another student.
